Membership in Transport
2000 is open to everyone and includes users and consumers from across Canada.
Municipal, provincial and federal agencies and departments, labour unions,
companies and interest groups are also included.
Membership includes voting rights in meetings of Transport 2000's regional
associations. The regional bodies in turn elect delegates to Transport
2000 Canada. Membership includes a suscription to the national newsletter:
Transport Action.
Transport 2000 and its seven regional associations ( B.C., Alberta,
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic) meet regularly. Members
and the general public have an opportunity to learn about issues of importance,
to add their voices and raise issues of concern to them.

Transport 2000
depends on ordinary people taking out memberships and sending in donations.
Without your support Transport 2000 would not survive. No one would get
the consumer's point of view. In 1996, Transport 2000 made news over 100
times talking about abandoning the Maritime ferry tradition, the ozone
hole, toll highways, subway safety and numerous other topics.
Encourage your friends to support, join and donate to Transport 2000.
Transport 2000 is a charitable organization and donations are also accepted
(Charitable registration number: 0528349-59-10).
