- In October an increase of 32% over loadings in 1998, now 6050 daily passengers travelling. This line's success does not let up. (It was) set up in May 1997 as a way of attenuating the effects of traffic on the pont Marius-Barbeau Bridge.  The Board of the Agence Métropolitaine de transport decided in August 1997 to continue the experiment and set an objective of 5,000 travellers (per day)for August 2000, an objective surpassed in September 1998.

Local users and Transport 2000 Québec deserve credit for unrelenting advocacy for this line's continuation and expansion.  They have not "failed" in this despite the fact that they remained, most of the time, polite if persistant.
